Samantha Kasdorf is a Registered Massage Therapist who recently graduated from Langara College in Vancouver this past August. Back and now based in Terrace, she brings a strong passion for anatomy, movement, and whole-body wellness into her practice. Combined with a background in yoga teaching since 2013, Samantha brings both experience and curiosity to her work with clients.

Outside the clinic, she can often be found trail running, skiing, mountain biking, or hiking in the surrounding mountains. This active lifestyle gives her a firsthand understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and recovers.

Her massage therapy treatments are designed to help relieve pain, reduce stress, and support overall wellbeing. Whether clients are seeking targeted treatment for injuries, managing chronic tension, or simply a space to reset and decompress, she is committed to helping them feel their best. Samantha’s deep connection to movement and the outdoors informs her approach to care and she’s excited to continue to grow and strengthen as a practitioner at NICHE Healthcare Centre.

Kate originally studied massage in England, completing her studies in 2003. After five years in practice she returned to education, graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2010. Kate has since completed post graduate training in Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy®* and she primarily uses this approach to treatment.

SDTT is philosophically different in its approach and application from most other manual therapies. It has its own assessment and treatment procedures, with a wide variety of techniques to tackle almost any condition. By manipulating the fascial-muscle-joint systems, SDTT works to structurally realign the body in order to achieve optimal physical function.

Kate’s goal is to locate and effectively treat the underlying cause of musculo-skeletal related pain and dysfunction, in order to achieve lasting results for her patients. Continuing treatment can increase body awareness and vitality, help prevent illness and injury and maintain good health.
